SR Traction Motors
LeTourneau
B40 motors are ideally suited for high torque applications and
are capable of four quadrant operation.
Maximum
continuous torque is 2,500 ft. lb.
Maximum speed is 4,500 RPM
The B40 uses formed coils. Insulating material is
Class H or better. The coils are epoxy resin encapsulated using
a VPI process.
Motor testing is per IEEE Std 11-1980
