LeTourneau Technologies™ Drilling Systems Builds New Top Drive Manufacturing Facility

Houston, Texas - To meet growing demand for its industry-leading DirectDrive™ Top Drive systems, LeTourneau Technologies™ (LTI) Drilling Systems has invested in a new facility dedicated to manufacturing and testing its top drive
product line.

The significant capital investment committed to this facility illustrates LTI's continued commitment to meeting the market's call for high-quality, high-performance drilling equipment.

The new top drive facility will encompass 13,160 square-feet and feature a 70-foot tall ceiling that allows for full testing of each of the five DirectDrive Top Drive systems: 250, 350, 500, 750, and 1,000 ton capacity models.

All LTI DirectDrive Top Drive systems showcase a unique design that eliminates the gear box, and as a result, any gearbox-related problems. In addition to delivering a high level of torque for optimized drilling performance, the systems also use a redundant speed sensing capability to increase operational reliability.
