Those who have earned the title of LeTourneau Authorized Operator and Maintenance Trainer have the benefit of in-depth equipment knowledge and mining industry savvy.
First, our trainers are "authorized." This means that in addition to earning a certification on LeTourneau equipment, our trainers must be re-certified each year. Second, when you learn from an Authorized LeTourneau Trainer,
you are tapping into specialized industry knowledge that goes beyond the "how tos" of the equipment itself. We train operators how to reduce cost-per-ton by:
- Improving operator cycle times
- Achieving production quota without unnecessary wear on tires
- Reducing mean time between failures, thereby increasing up-time
- Expanding the operator's knowledge base to include worst case scenarios and how to best utilize the machine to optimize productivity
- Staying up-to-date on the industry's most pressing safety and safe loading practices
The LeTourneau Authorized Trainer program is held annually at LeTourneau in Longview, Texas.
