METALLURGICAL ENGINEER
LeTourneau Technologies Steel Products, a producer of Specialty Alloy Plate, is seeking an experienced metallurgist in its Technical Services Department. Desired candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical / Materials. Engineering experience with Alloy Steels helpful. Knowledge of Alloy Steel Plate Production including melting, rolling and heat-treating is preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: process and product development, customer interaction, claim evaluation and inquiry review.

GENERAL MANAGER, Health, Safety and Environmental
The following duties and responsibilities are essential. Other duties may be assigned.
- Leads and manages the day to day affairs of the LTI HSE organization.
- Maintains accountability for all HSE Systems, Plans, Programs, Processes and Procedures
that are in place to ensure compliance with all applicable HSE policies.
- Manages the development and implementation of a comprehensive HSE Compliance Program,
including processes & procedures, compliance assurance plans, gap assessments,
audits and closure verifications.
- Oversees compliance programs, including assessments and audits, and assists staff
in ensuring that responsible entities, including Operations personnel, closes
any identified gaps.
- Participates in M&A due diligence and contract reviews.
- Assists in the preparation of materials for Quarterly Board of Directors meetings.
- Develops HSE Training Materials, including new employee orientation.
- Develops staff; maintains budget.
- Interfaces with customers regarding their HSE Program as it pertains to LTI facilities.
- Ensure proper incident investigations and emergency response throughout LTI.
- Has excellent command of all HSE laws and regulations.
- Ability to effectively work within all levels or divisions or organization.
- Travels as needed to LTI facilities.
- Exhibits impeccable integrity, adherence to company policies and programs.
- Develops & completes a Professional Development Program for self & staff.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year accredited college or university in Technical Field,
including Engineering, HSE Science, Industrial Hygiene preferred; and 10 years
HSE experience , specifically in manufacturing, oil and gas industry and at least
5 years in management of HSE Programs, including training; or equivalent combination
of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses or other Registrations
Holding of professional and/or industrial certifications in HSE- related areas is
a plus.
Tools, Technology and Equipment
- Knowledge of miscellaneous manufacturing equipment.
- Basic skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and
correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or
employees of organization.
Mathematical Ability
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and
percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Other Skills and Abilities
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in HSE compliance field, oil & gas
industry, including manufacturing, drilling, E&P, pipelines, refining.

HSE SAFETY SPECIALIST
The following duties and responsibilities are essential. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develops and maintains relationships and communication channels with assigned business
units
- Position is a compliance, investigative, and forward thinking assignment that must
act proactively on thoughts, outside information, and field reports.
- Responsible for implementing new safety programs, policies, and procedures, attend
and audit training, performing gap assessments in the safety management system,
conducting HSE internal audits, and closure verification.
- Maintain and update necessary certifications and training as deemed necessary by
the Manager of Health & Safety.
- Assist in maintaining all health and safety document master copies as well as tracking
and trending safety statistics.
- Monitor the Permit to Work, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Stop Card and all other company
initiated systems, maintain, and continually improve the effectiveness of these
programs.
- Attend all HSE meetings, and be prepared to present at any other required venues
as deemed necessary by the Manager of Health & Safety.
- Maintain and update audits and inspections for facility and equipment. Identify
and report deficiencies, and bringing to closure all such deficiencies.
- Maintain a clear path of communication with all field personnel assisting as needed.
- All other functional duties as assigned or approved by the Manager of Health &
Safety.
- Assists with testing and servicing safety equipment and systems.
- Implements administrative or engineering controls to abate or minimize safety hazards.
- Investigates industrial accidents to minimize recurrence and prepares accident reports.
- Tours plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities; to
identify and correct potential hazards; and to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Determines requirements for safety clothing and devices, and designs, builds, and
installs, or directs installation of, safety devices on machinery.
- Coordinates drug screening for hiring and random testing.
Education and/or Experience
BS in related Health and Safety Field preferred, but may be substituted for a strong
background in related operations and onsite experience. Minimum of 3 years
of relevant experience in HSE compliance field, manufacturing industry, or 6-8 years
direct experience in manufacturing. International work experience is a plus.
